Our blisters are ideal packaging material for your turned and milled products. But also other valuable parts can be well protected with these blister trays. Your parts will not touch each other and therefore remain without scratches or other damages.
The blisters can also be used for internal transport, for example when moving from one metalworking machine to another, or when the products need to be stored temporarily.

We have designed the blister trays to be stronger and stiffer than usual on the market. We use 0.4 mm thick transparent PET foil. This means that the blisters will hardly bend when the parts are in them, especially when the blister trays are stacked and the walls of the blisters pass each other's strength.

The reason we use PET for our material is mainly due to its high strength and toughness. Also, this material does not age. And the great advantage of PET is that it is very recyclable.

We do not use the white polystyrene (PS) that you know from the white chip trays, because it is less strong, ages quickly and tears easily as a result. Polystyrene is also unsuitable for recycling and is increasingly being avoided as a packaging material, perhaps even banned in the long term.

We at Blisters4Parts.com are thinking of the future. We see a new material emerging in the near future that is even more suitable than PET.
That material is called PEF (polyethylene furanoate). It is an aromatic, (partially) bio-based thermoplastic polyester that is easy to cast and thermoform. PEF has high strength and perforation hardness, good heat resistance, and excellent gas barrier properties that are superior to PET. As soon as PEF becomes widely available, there is a good chance that we will switch our production process.
